Windows user’s guide for cleaning the Print Head of Epson printer
Start from your Epson printer
You need to make sure that your Epson printer is turned ON and the ink out light is OFF mode
Then, go to your computer system and access the printer software or Epson utility software
Here, you need to click on the Utility tab and then click on the Head Cleaning button
After that, follow the on-screen instructions further to proceed
You can see that the power light and the ink lights flash during the cleaning cycle of your Epson printer
The moment power light stops flashing, just click on Print Nozzle Check Pattern in the Head Cleaning dialog box to confirm that the head is clean and to reset the cleaning cycle for further user
We always recommend printing a few pages at least once every month to avoid any such situation of poor print quality or dotted print

First, go to your Epson printer and here make sure that the printer is ON and the ink out light is OFF to proceed further
After that move to your computer and get access of the Print or Page Setup dialog box and click on the Utility icon button
And then, click the Head Cleaning button for cleaning it
You will be guided by the on-screen instructions; just follow them
Here, the power light and the ink lights flash while the printer performs the cleaning cycle; you can review it meanwhile
As the power light stops flashing, then click on the Confirmation button on the Head Cleaning dialog box to print a nozzle check pattern and to reset the cleaning cycle for your printer
You can use the check pattern to get assure that the head is clean
Make sure that you are getting few pages in print in each month
